A hundred and 90-six… A hundred and 90-six… A hundred and 90-six… Oh boy!!! Did he just state that?!
The
appearance my fellow regional instructor Jon Namba been on his eyes
confirmed what I’d heard. I know I looked just like shocked to Jon
because he did in my experience. Also construction company all originated from what
appeared in my experience a harmless question.
I was in Mexico
City, planning to setup the class room and training position for about
80 installers along with other flooring people going to attend a 3-day
Bostik-backed NWFA Fundamental Installation School, particularly
tailored to Mexico’s wood floor market. While Jon and that i were
happily talking over morning coffee and breakfast with Daniel Sanchez,
national sales director of Bostik Mexicana S.A., all Used to do was ask,
“So, the number of have you got coming?”
Daniel did change just a
little in the happy attitude to slightly timid when, just like a poker
player waiting to check his opponents’ responses, he silently stated,
“We have 196 registered.”
With this answer sinking in, anxious
laughter filled the environment as Jon and that i recognized construction company would
have our “manos” full. “Okay.” Jon stated, “Two people for 196
attendees. We’re going need to do some rethinking about how exactly we
will run the program.Inches
“No kidding!” I stated, there the
experience began. Between establishing the class room with more than 200
bags full of Bostik goodies and private protective gear, putting
together 16 work stations on plastic-protected carpet, moving product in
one place to another, and rearranging the Powerpoint presentation to
suit the modified outline, with that setup day we designed a monstrous
16-hour effort. Because of the work and support by our local Bostik
support team: Daniel Sanchez, Orlando Saucedo, Omar Ramos, Eduardo
Garcia, together with Eric Kurtz, U.S. items/marketing manager.
